Club Serenity was featured in the Observer-Reporter following the announcement of a $1.5 million grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs to support the development of a regional substance use disorder drop-in center serving communities across Washington, Greene, Fayette, and Westmoreland counties.
Pennsylvania DDAP Secretary Dr. Latika Davis-Jones visited Club Serenity in Charleroi to announce the award and highlight the importance of providing welcoming, judgment-free places where individuals can connect with treatment, recovery support, healthcare, overdose prevention resources, case management, and other essential services.
For Club Serenity, the investment represents another opportunity to expand access to recovery resources throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania and continue meeting individuals where they are in their recovery journey.
